Rodriguez Fails Physical, Signs with Atlanta

Wandy Rodriguez will not be a Philadelphia Phillie in 2015. A failed physical, first reported by Marino Pepen, ended Rodriguez’s deal with the Phillies and he is headed to the Atlanta Braves, according to David O’Brien of the Atlanta Journal Constitution. Rodriguez has struggled to stay healthy over the last four seasons, starting just 51 games after starting 24 or more in seven straight seasons previous to that. Rodriguez’s deal with the Braves is believed to be around $2 million for 2015.
